A setting of the prologue to the Gospel according to John in two neumatic styles of notation: the four line, as seen in earlier works, and a form of adiastematic notation.
The primary reason for both sets of neumes is to further define an apophatic notation as a series of equivalent or relative pitches so that intonational standards are undefined, requiring the interpreter to seek their own intonational axioms in performance.
