Another study, this for the sake of a notational experiment.
The existence of a basso continuo at the bottom and an effetto continuo on top to serve to elaborate the limited space of the A2-A4 space in my harmonic language, and allow for an "orchestration" in some sense.
Both are served by a varying set of sources that are essentially variable. Both contain the obbligato pitches that are performed by their respective "solo" violin and cello, and the harmonic and effectual "modifications" are performed according to the players' wishes. Like any continuo, the core quality of the music is the obbligati, leaving the rest of it up to a sort of semi improvisation.
